Well, Hidden. As far as I can tell about this writing prompt, it is referring to a 1987
movie about an Alien on the run in America. I, sadly, have not seen this flick, so feel unable to write an expose on it’s importance to me or my life.
However, Kyle MacLachlan plays an FBI agent in it-- which highly improves the likelihood of my viewing of it. He’s one of those dudes that does interesting stuff.
Anyway, so he is playing an FBI agent again. There was the whole Special Agent Dale Cooper, pie-eating deal from Twin Peaks. I get the pie eating, but why does special agent spring to the mind of Hollywood casting agents? Did David Lynch see Hidden and say to himself, “Yep, that Kyle, he exemplifies everything I think of when I think FBI. Thank god, I saw Hidden or I would never have guessed his potential in that area?” Or maybe he sensed the investigative prowess in Blue Velvet? These are the things that run through my mind as vacuum the halls of schools.
Anyway, Kyle MacLachlan. Here’s a picture of him. (Thank to Tucker for the image-inserting power.)
Just 'cause I'm on a roll here, does he say FBI to you?
