AHHHHH
I went to WVNCC to schedule. The lady had a big attitude with me for scheduling so late. She didn't help me AT ALL. She said since I didn't know my major she didn't know what to tell me. She handed me a book with program descriptions and a book with times of classes and told me to pick the classes myself. Yeah thanks for nothing.
So as I sat there in a room with other people, including two girls with two bad kids that would not shut up or quit kicking the copy machine, I tried to look up classes. I couldn't concentrate because of the noise, and I didn't know what to take anyway because I don't know what the "general" classes are. I thought they'd help me with that. I almost said fuck it and left. At about 4:50 I was sent to another person. It was the girl who couldn't help me at all yesterday when I called. Every question I asked her yesterday she "didn't know." So surprisingly she helped me a little bit. Basically she told me without declaring a major she couldn't tell me what to take to help toward any specific major (so the classes won't help me when I do pick a major) but that they would most likely be required if I decide to transfer to get my bachelors. So like I said, it was about 4:50, and she said the computers shut down at 5 so it was too late. So now I have to go back tomorrow. ARGH.
And it really sucks. I wanted to take classes from like 11-3, but that won't work. I'll have a 2 hour gap inbetween two of my classes, and since I don't drive, I'm fucking stuck there. And another class or two is only available late in the evening, like 7 pm. This blows balls.
I was really thinking of going to OUE, but I need to know what classes would transfer to WVNCC, and it's basically too late to find out. So I'm fucking screwed.
