Death and poetry...it's poetic

I do not like being the face of the NYPD! At all! Why is it always me having to go on television? And don't say it's the freckles, I will hurt you.

This case is giving me migraines. Personally I'm not going for the connection. Maybe that's just me.

It's because Logan is... uh, well, he's Logan. And I conveniently volunteered not to do it. So it falls on you.

No. It's because you all hate me. And I hate all of you for leaving it to me.

Stupid Ross.

Okay, honestly, would you really want Logan representing the NYPD?

You were in the right place at the right time. Or wrong depending on your perspective.

Thank you.

For that, I owe you a beer.

I could think of less qualified people. Or, perhaps even better, people who have no business talking.

I hope you realize I know this already.

And yet there you are, yapping away.

First of all, I specifically chose to leave out everything I was really thinking. I chose to be diplomatic about a sensitive subject where I could have easily vented my frustrations with a very abrasive person. Second, I also specifically chose to leave out the part about how I would be an even worse choice than Logan would. It's difficult to represent the NYPD when the entire department hates you. Third, thank you for jumping into a perfectly civil conversation and inserting your two cents where you knew all it would do is stir up trouble.

Depends on your definition of diplomatic.

Second, leaving out your own failings while pointing out someone else's--very mature.

Third--actually, no I wasn't trying to "stir up trouble". I was simply responding to what I thought was an unfair statement about my husband.
