I hated my first day at Target, they had me work the register, so I could learn how. I spent a while at a closed register training/practicing all alone-they give you a book with different fake checks, and credit cards etc and have you practice everything. This is not the end of the road. You said it yourself, you're 24 years old. You've got an entire lifetime ahead of you. You've only been in the world 24 years and for more than half of those, you weren't capable of living your own life because you didn't have the knowledge or the means. Now you do. And you have another 24, and another, and another, and who knows how many to get to where you want to be. You just have to have a plan. I mean, come on, Josh has a masters in math and he's a customer service rep for an insurance company. Don't you think that some days he goes into and comes home from work feeling the same way you did? This isn't what he wants. It isn't what he's aiming for. But it's what he's doing until he can get to where he wants to be. And for that matter, that's exactly what I'm doing. The only difference is i'm using the degree that i discovered too late I didn't want.
