Testing....is this thing on?

Well, I'm back from my vacation, and what's first up? A school shooting. Not just any school shooting either, but WWII all over again. Son of a bitch..It's not the first one either. Munch got shot in the ass investigating a similar case last year. I think I need to buy one of those hemmorhoid donut thingies and leave it on his chair for when he comes back. Between that and a tinfoil hat, I think he'd be happy.

We've got just about everything moved into the new apartment, finally. I've been helping Diane get settled in the old place too. This weekend was interesting. An old friend of Alan's from Boston, Ellenor Frutt, came to visit us with her daughter, Zoey.. I like them both. Ellenor is smart, funny, and can keep Alan on his toes. Zoey was just sweet, intelligent, and not a little heathen like so many other children I know.

Ellenor and I ended up talking about Alan...I found out during the course of this conversation he embezzled several million dollars. I was a bit shocked. If I was cynical, I'd say his donation to the 'Isabel Logan College Fund' was partially attributable to some modicum of guilt over how he acquired it. But, I don't think he does feel bad about how he made his money. I don't think there's much Alan Shore feels bad about. As he's told me on several occasions, he's made peace with what he's done in the past.

I didn't know he wanted kids with Jane. He never told me. Though, seeing him with kids, it's not hard to understand why. He'd be a great father, and he loves kids.

Ellenor probably knows much better than I do the levels to which Alan will go to win in court. I asked her if what she knew about him affected how she felt. She said no, because she knew he does what he does for good reasons. .That's kind of the same conclusion I came to, so it's nice to see she agrees with me.

In other news, I'm still the SVU bitchmonkey. I think Curtis needs a woman....or the brass offf his ass, or both. Hmm......
