*Connie's in Queens...she was meeting with her mom and sisters to talk about her baby shower....now she's picking up some stuff from the drugstore before heading back to Manhattan.*
*David is walking through the park with Ellie. He's holding tightly to her hand because she keeps running off.*
Connie Rubirosa: *Connie gets out of the drugstore, decides to walk through the park to get to the subway station, since it's such a nice day out....*
Ellie Eames: *trying to let go of David's hand* Neenee! Neenee!
Connie Rubirosa: *hears various kids in the park, and it doesn't immediately register that she's being called to, continues walking, sending Michael a quick text while she does so.*
Ellie Eames: Neenee! *trying to drag David when she realises he's got a super grip on her*
David Dresden: *sees who she is looking at and runs with her to save his arm from being ripped off*
Connie Rubirosa: *puts her phone away, looks up and sees them* Hey! *smiles, in surprise*
*when they're close enough, David lets her go*
Ellie Eames: *runs to her, arms flailing*
Connie Rubirosa: *laughing*
Ellie Eames: Neenee! Neenee! *wraps her arms around her legs*
Connie Rubirosa: *kneels down to hug her as best she can, though her belly does get in the way a bit* Hi, sweetheart.
Ellie Eames: Hiiii *makes a kissy face*
David Dresden: *only sliiiightly out of breath*
Connie Rubirosa: *kisses Ellie's cheek* Look at you. How old are you now, five? *teasing*
David Dresden: *eye!bug* Not yet!
Ellie Eames: Meee? Leelee.
Connie Rubirosa: Yes, that's you. *smiles, goes to stand, has a tad bit of trouble*....I can't really crouch for very long or else I get stuck that way.
David Dresden: Yeah, you may think Ellie's grown... but so have you.
Connie Rubirosa: I'm aware, thanks.
Connie Rubirosa: *smirk*
David Dresden: Thought you might. Back pain? Swollen ankles? Pain in other... places... I'll stop right there.
Connie Rubirosa: Thanks....yeah, it's great....*pause* I really am enjoying it, but obviously there are downsides. I'm going to look like a tent with a head at your wedding.
David Dresden: *laughs* No problem. I don't think it matters what you look like.
Connie Rubirosa: Great. I'm sure Michael's going to be happy about it - it'll mean he won't have to dance.
David Dresden: Excellent, for him.
Connie Rubirosa: Mmhmm.
Connie Rubirosa: I *like* dancing.
David Dresden: I've not met that many women that don't.
Connie Rubirosa: *smirk*
Connie Rubirosa: How's the wedding planning going? I don't think I've been able to sit and chat with Alex in awhile.
David Dresden: *smirks back* She'll probably be able to fill you in better than me. But it's all going smoothly as far as I'm concerned.
Ellie Eames: *squeals and runs around them*
Connie Rubirosa: Good. *grins at Ellie* Look at her go...
David Dresden: Yeah... you haven't seen her for a while, I take it?
Connie Rubirosa: *shakes her head* We've talked briefly, a few times, since the Woll trial ended...but it's been a busy two or three weeks.
David Dresden: I meant Ellie. *gestures to the crazy blonde one* I know Alex has been incredibly busy with work and all the usual.
Connie Rubirosa: Yeah - I haven't seen Ellie in even longer.
Ellie Eames: *talking to them both, mostly babbles*
Ellie Eames: *is a chatterbox*
David Dresden: She's been going to daycare, though she refers to it as school.
Connie Rubirosa: That's cute....*to Ellie* Do you like school?
Ellie Eames: Skooool. *nods* Yah, yah, yah, yah. *singsong*
Connie Rubirosa: *grin* What a big girl you are.
Ellie Eames: *nods* Yaaaah. G'girl. *beams* *then points to Connie's belly*
Connie Rubirosa: *laughs, touches her own belly* Yep, it's big.
Ellie Eames: Beeee *moves to touch it*
Connie Rubirosa: *lets her* Careful...
David Dresden: *moving to stop her, but let's Connie choose in the end*
Connie Rubirosa: *puts a hand over Ellie's, moves it to where the baby's moving a little* You feel that?
Ellie Eames: *her eyes are open wide out of surprise* Oooooooooh.
Connie Rubirosa: *laughs*
Ellie Eames: *moves her hand and pats back*
David Dresden: Careful... *daddy!voice*
Connie Rubirosa: They're getting along already. *smirk* *to Ellie* Do you want another friend to play with?
Ellie Eames: P'ay? *bounces*
David Dresden: I don't think she understands what you mean. *chuckles*
Connie Rubirosa: *laughs* I'm going to have a baby, Ellie. When he gets bigger, you can play with him.
Ellie Eames: Baybee? *points to herself*
Connie Rubirosa: *points to her belly* Baby.
Ellie Eames: *laughs at her* Nahh baybee. *shakes her head*
David Dresden: *laughs*
Connie Rubirosa: *laughs at that*....okay, okay. You win. No baby. I'm just this fat. ANd my tummy makes weird rumblings that you can feel.
David Dresden: *snickers*
Ellie Eames: Yah. *she has no idea what she's agreeing to*
Connie Rubirosa: *laughs harder*
Ellie Eames: *giggles*
David Dresden: *amused, shaking his head*
Connie Rubirosa: *to Ellie* How's your mommy?
Ellie Eames: Mama! *claps her hands*
Connie Rubirosa: *laughs*
Ellie Eames: Mama g'girl!
David Dresden: *amused*
Connie Rubirosa: I'm sure she is. And what about your daddy?
Ellie Eames: *points to David* Dada *goes over to him and pats his leg, like, here he is*
David Dresden: What, I'm not a good girl? Sheesh. What's a guy gotta do.
Connie Rubirosa: *grins* Yes, there he is....
Connie Rubirosa: How's Polly?
Ellie Eames: *imitates the sounds that Polly makes* Pahlee *then flaps her arms*
Connie Rubirosa: *laughs* Does he say "Ellie"?
Ellie Eames: Leelee! *points to herself*
David Dresden: He does.
Connie Rubirosa: Ellie wanna cracker?
Ellie Eames: *lots of giggles*
Connie Rubirosa: Does he ask you that?
David Dresden: No, I'd be on cloud nine if he did!
Ellie Eames: Kak-kak *like, quack-quack, because she's getting them confused*
Connie Rubirosa: Duck?
Ellie Eames: YAH! Kak-kak! Kak-kak!
David Dresden: Just for the record... We don't have a duck.
Connie Rubirosa: No?
David Dresden: *smirks* No. No room. I asked, but... *pouty*
Connie Rubirosa: Don't you have a yard?
David Dresden: The space wasn't the issue. *laughs*
Connie Rubirosa: No?
David Dresden: No. Eventually, you have to remember you have jobs and can't really run a farm. Though it's a dream for the future. *smirks*
Connie Rubirosa: One duck isn't a farm.
David Dresden: ...I wouldn't stop at a duck.
Ellie Eames: Kak-kak. Kak-kak, Kak-kak. Kak-kak
Connie Rubirosa: *laughs*
