Had dinner with Connie the other night. I think we worked out some things that have been bothering her. I don't notice these things but she does. It's good one of us does. Heh.
I like her. She's a great woman. I just wish she would relax and stop being so... stand-offish in terms of everything. She seems so afraid of everything that I swear she is afraid of her own shadow sometimes. It sounds like she's been burned enough times, though, to make her gun-shy. I can understand that.
Here's hoping she sticks around in my life for a long time to come.
