Packing
I hate packing, though it's worth it for a week off with Alan... Maui is just a added bonus, we could be in a run down cabin in the woods for all I care... but I really can't see Alan chasing squirrels out of the house and chopping wood. Actually, that would be kind of entertaining to see Alan Shore roughing it.... but that's never going to happen.
Anyway, I realized I don't fit into my old bathing suits.... I've lost most of the baby weight, but still not quite enough to be comfortable in my old bathing suits. That's really not a big deal, I won't be laying out in the sun, and I bought I more slimming black one piece and one of those cover-ups that looks like a flimsy bathrobe and will cover up my fat ass. So that's taken care of... I don't think we'll be spending too many days out on the beach anyway. No bikinis though. I haven't worn one of those since I was 30, and it's not going to happen.... ever.
Then there's the dress situation. I wanted to take something nice looking... you know, just in case. But I don't have a dress I really like. I haven't worn a nice looking dress that wasn't something I wore when I was pregnant since that fundraiser, and the dress I bought to marry Bobby in... and neither of those are appropriate. So I think maybe tomorrow I'll go shopping.... maybe since my budget is still pretty tight. Is anyone having a good sale?
