Adding chapters to novels after the fact and other bad ideas.

So last night I ended up typing up an outline for lengthening Crimson Mask. While I am very, very happy with what I've got, a part of me still wants to add to the story. A couple of sub-plots never quite got ironed out properly, a couple of characters didn't get enough screen time, and I never really felt like I captured the essence of the urban war-fare going on in the story.

It doesn't help that when I talked about expanding it to a trilogy to my best friend, he seemed excited about the prospect.

Regardless, I'm happy to have gotten the ideas typed out and saved for posterity, especially since it's been bouncing around my head for the last couple of days. With it out of the way, I'm hoping I can get to work on one of the other half-dozen projects I'd like to be focusing on. That's the plan for tonight.

Well, that and some Torchlight. The game is like crack, but like if Diablo II were made into crack, then made slightly less hardcore but more intuitive!
