went for a walk this morning

it was so nice outside. so green and cheery. summer is of course my favorite time of year, but spring is nice too. the hills to the east of town are green for these few months each year. one of the things i missed most while in vegas were my semi-daily walks. sure, i could walk around there, but it's not the same. all the landscape was so desolate. there were hardly and trees anywhere, and healthy grass was a rarity. it's just too dry.

it's still pretty nice outside. ~70 degrees with a light breeze. i think i'll go for another walk.
