cold: day 5
yes, as the title suggests, i am entering the fifth day of this lousy cold. the bad news is this has been almost a week down the drain. haven't been to work since last thursday. the good news is my symptoms haven't gotten worse, and indeed have actually improved almost imperceptably from day to day. that is my big concern. i go to sleep each night fearing waking up with wet lungs. i'm hoping to be able to go back in on thursday.
and yes, i still have malice in my heart for that woman who gave me this cold. seriously, if you have a job that puts you in close contact with others and you've come down with something, call in sick. please.
