modern medicine is nice
medical bureaucracy is not nice.
i woke up early this morning with an evil cough, so i went to a doctor today. $159 down the drain. i know the drill. frankly, six of the last seven times i visited a physician, i knew what was wrong with me and what i needed for treatment. yet i had to go and be billed for their hours anyway. yeah, yeah, i know. not everyone can be trusted to medicate themselves, and so for the good of society certain products, whose over prescription could be detrimental to mankind, must be restricted. it still sucks.
