oh, hello are you still there?
okay hello
it's been a million years
never ever have much time these days for anything
since we last talked, i think,
moved from chicago to dayton (wait not sure how long it's been)
then moved back to cincinnati
lots of music,
couple great new bands,
met a great girl,
we gots a house a real fixer upper.
employment worries were resolved last winter
when i took two part time jobs,
working at music hall (where the symphony etc does their thing)
and at southgate house (a three-music-venue historic mansion, like 650 capacity)
threw out my back super bad last winter, that was fun.
got promoted to the full-time office at southgate house
so i get to meet and deal with bands all the time which is pretty cool
absolute best shows since i've been here:
built to spill (used my bubble machine!)
dan deacon / deerhunter

bonnie "prince" billy
st. vincent
breeders
jason molina
they're all nice people
this saturday i'm opening for the guy from appleseed cast!
and raveonettes are playing the same night with black angels
put out a billy catfish cd! it's at all the usual online places.
last week i got nominated for a singer/songwriter cincinnati entertainment award!
