So, that semi-hiatus turned into a full-fledged one, didn't it? I didn't mean for that to happen. They just started overloading me with work, and I always ended up distracted with other things whenever I did manage to get online.
First things first, happy late birthdays to everyone on my f-list whose birthday I missed. Sorry 'bout that guys. I swear I'll get it next time. Happy early birthday piepie75, though! =D
So, how things have been. Well, I've been writing again. Everything turns out like, really bad though. Not just normally bad, but like... I dunno, not wordy, but... it just sounds... like words on a page. I can't give it that spark that it should have. I dunno. Tonikaku I suck at writing moving on.
Other things... Uh. AFO in... two weeks. No wait, a week? A-- almost two weeks. Kind of. Sort of? Man I suck at this. I think I'm really tired... >_>
I will be cosplaying as Miku in my shiny new wig, assuming I can keep it in good condition until the actual convention, I know nothing of caring for wigs, oh God. ;_; Well, I think I'll pull through.
Metrocon was... okay. It wasn't spectacular. There were n00bs, there were some cool people, snapped some pictures, etc. It wasn't... y'know... as exciting, I guess, as it usually is. Or at least how I thought it would be. I have to say though, things went a lot more smoothly this year than I think any other year I've ever been there, except maybe the very first year. I made almost every panel I wanted to go to, and I still went to all the events. The rave, although shorter than I would have liked, was fun like always. I had a blast pretending I could actually dance.
Speaking of dances. So there were these girls doing para para (Night of Fire actually, I can't believe I recognized it haven't heard that song in forever) on the first floor off to the side... with a CD player. I'm like, "Jackpot!" So I ask them if I could borrow it to pop in my CD real quick (after giving them a rundown on what in the world idolm@ster was). They were like, "Well we're going to *insert some Sailor Moon-related shit that I didn't care about here* but we're gonna be back later and tomorrow." Of course I ended up never seeing them again. So there went my chances of becoming an odotte mita star overnight. This one chick got to do a spontaneous Hare Hare Yukai that someone was playing (on an iPod or some shit like that, I think), though. I started to watch her like everyone else, then I remembered that I FUCKING HATE THAT SONG and that the dance is retarded and clearly meant to confuse lefties into submission. I'd rather learn the fucking routine to Honey, I swear. So at least SOME people got to odoru at Metrocon; just not me. Sad face. But if Christian is running the "para para" panel (quotes intended) at AFO like he did last year, I plan on hijacking it and making everyone learn Cirno. That'll be fun. :D
Oh, "yay me!" time. I'm on sows now. If you don't know what that means, then that means you're a normal person and not a total geek. If you do know what that means, then I got bad news for you. :) But you get to congratulate me at least. :)
Been watching dubdam season two on Siffy; gotta say I missed the dub crew. I was never so happy to hear Richard Cox in my life. Oh, and Tieria's VA. I don't know who you are, but I love you. <3 <3 <3
Started watching some new anime. Monster stories, princess dude, khanaan, seakitties, etc. So far I'm kind of liking Umineko even though it's kinda... wonky.... kind of like it's trying too hard. Although I have to say that one part in episode one where the mother smacked the little girl for making that 'ooh' sound over and over... I was kinda cheering her on. I hated that sound and I wanted her to shut up as much as the mom did. Oh and I kinda hate the little girl in general. Basically I hate everyone except the trap butler right now. I kiiiiiinda like the main character guy in an "oh you card!" kinda way, but he's still an idiot.
Canaan I'm still undecided about. Yay, girls with guns animu. Like we don't have enough of those. Not even finished with Phantom yet, damn. Oh man, can you believe Hetalia's over already? Seems like it just started... well we're getting another season, right? I remember reading something about that a while ago. Also, small confession here: I haven't actually started watching Bakemonogatari or Princess Lover yet. D: I'll get around to it I swear!
Finished K-ON!. Moe show is moe, but I liked it. Mugi and Ritsu need more love.
Finished Higashi no Eden. That show is off the chain. I loved it. Need movies NAO. >:O
OMG Kannagi got licensed?! Oooh, T-shirt. Volume 2 preorder here I come. =D
Oh, and I quit soda. First week and a half were hell, but I'm pulling through okay. Broke down and had a ramune (my brother got it for me [dawwww]), but that was it. Been clean for over two weeks now. =]
