It's time for another vacation.
Josef and Elizabeth have both, at different instances, seen how much they can beenfit from going away for a while, taking a break from Chicago and its constant happenstance situations, and come back fully revitalized. They both have their reasons for needing the break, but Josef knows his has a lot to do with Nikolas and his death--not to mention, the mess Nikolas left in his hands after he was killed.
And so, they decide on a date that works best for them and they're off. He leaves everything in capable hands. What work he needs to bring with him, he does. His cell phone will be on, but he'll only answer a select number of people. Josef sits on one of the comfortable plush leather chairs with the laptop in front of him, but he hasn't started working on anything much. It's a long plane ride, and he half wonders how Elizabeth will fair, sitting still for over nine hours.
Chances are she probably wonn't, but there is plenty for her to entertain herself with in the private jet. She can even run back and forth between rooms if she ever needs to give her legs a good stretch, which would amuse the narration greatly. There's food, music, movies, and any other form of entertainment that he thinks she might be interested in.
He's nursing a glass of scotch, and he leans back against the chair, releasing a breath. Josef already feels lighter. He turns to her, a soft smirk on his face, and asks, "Figured out what you want to do first when we get there?"
