Summer Games Anyone?
So summer is really and actually here; and I see people across the street in Gorilla Park playing frisbee and kickball and soccer... And it occurred to me tonight that Damn, if I'm gonna get anything like that in this summer I guess I better actually do something about it.
So... Whose up for a summer outdoor game day?! I've still got my Kubb [koob] set, plus a croquet set now. There are frisbees as always. And The Irf recently bought a kick ball that still hasn't gotten used. Plus, of course, anything else that anyone might have.
I work all this weekend, (and besides it'd probably be rather short notice at this point anyway).
But what about next weekend? I think I have no plans for Saturday (27th). Sunday (28th) is Pride Parade. I must say, the idea of doing Pride and then striking out for summer games sounds pretty sweet to me... But, the problem there would likely be not knowing when Pride ends and therefor some potential issue with being able to just say come by for games anytime after ___.
But. Reconnaissance! Let me know, (any and all), if you'd be interested in summer games and if so what days, (and not necessarily just of those two), are liable to be good for you.
