I'm going to teach you how to make the following...

Program: Adobe Photoshop CS2
Difficulty: Intermediate-ish
Steps: 20 steps

01. Create a new document 800x600.

02. Next click the rectangluar tool (it's circled in red.)

03. Next create a square, it can be any size really but mine is 378x203. The color can be anything you want, because you will just be deleting that layer in a bit.

04. Go get an image you want used, in this case.. I used a picture of Bill Kaultiz from Tokio Hotel altered for an RP site called Nocturne. Next right click the rectangle and click where it says reselect (it's circled in red.)

05. When you have done that go to Edit > Paste Into and the image will go into the box. Than right click the image and go to Free Transform (it's circled in red.)

06. While holding shift, drag the right corner diagonal arrow down to size the image down (it's circled in red.)

07. Next duplicate the image layer (it's circled in red.)

08. With the duplicate layer still selected go to Fitler > Sharpen > Sharpen (it's circled in red.)

09. Now while the same layer is selected go to the opacity in the right corner and change the opacity to 65% instead of 100% (it's circled in red.)

10. Than using that same layer go to Layer > Merge Down (it's circled in red.)

11. This is where you get rid of your black rectangle box. So delete that.

12. Than create a new layer, you can do it this way or you can just hold Shift + Ctrl + N.

13. Than go here and use the following Texture.

14. Copy the texture than go to the layer in the layer menu and right click it and press "Select Layer Transparency." Than go to Edit > Paste Into. Now the texture should be in that box. When it is, right click the texture and go to where it says Free Transform and size the texture down than press enter. Than right click it again and go to Flip Vertical (it is circled in red.) Than press enter.

15. Than when you have done that go to the layer options while that texture layer is clicked and go to Linear Dodge (it's circled in red.)

16. While still on the texture layer, go to Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen (it's circled in red.)

17. Now you will need a text color so pick your little eye dropper (it's circled in red) and put in the hex code #a1a3f4.

18. Once you have done that click the text tool (it's circled in red.) I am using the font Nibble Diary where you can download here. Than type what you want, I have put "I can tell you belong with me."

19. Next go here and download that brush pack, you remember that new layer we made at step 12 this is where this one comes in. Go to the 9th brush (circled in red) draw a line using that brush. Than on that layer change the opacity to 54% (circled in purple). This is all on Layer 2.

20. Than Crop it, and save it and you're done!
