(no subject)
So this is the first post in here that I've made for over a month. Why is that? Well, I've found myself a little addiction. An addiction to something I generally hate, an internet forum, I hate forums. Hate. Not this one however, and I generally would rather read than write, so there you have it.
So I'm sitting here and I'm still not entirely used to my new monitor. It is this one. It is very very bright and even on economy mode it is brighter than the CRT it replaced.
It has, however, renewed my question of if I need glasses or not. I'm having a little trouble reading the menus of programs and determining the colour of links taken or not taken when they are similar colours. This makes no sense because the screen is bigger than the CRT and I'm running the same resolution. Though, I have had similar issues while reading things not on a screen recently, so it could have nothing to do with my monitor and my eyes are just broken. It doesn't help that I can and will sit in different positions and I can actually see colours changing if I move.
I should be posting from my new Athlon 64, but I wanted a new PSU and apparently the store was sold out, so I'm still waiting for the one I want to come back into stock.
