cat update
so bubs has an intestinal block, probably in the small intestine (this is post, trying to give the cat laxatives and all that). my family friend and vet said that 3000 bucks as an estimate for an enema and anesthesia or even a surgery is ridiculous (maybe not manhattan ridiculous, but all the same 3000 bucks could buy you a lot of cats). we're talking to a few other places and none of them so far have given and estimate for the surgery. however, there is one place in bay ridge that charges 25 for the visit, anesthesia starts at 95 and each enema is 80. that sounds a lot better than over 3k.
