I'm SO looking forward to tomorrow ^__^ Me and a couple of my friends are going to Thorpe Park! *dances*
I can't wait to get on those roller coasters. :D I luff roller coasters to itsy bitsy pieces, but since my family don't have a car, and we don't really live near any theme parks, i haven't been to many of them, or had a chance to ride on any of the real "thrill" rides.
BUT, that will change tomorrow. We've agreed that we're going to try out as many rides as possible, and try not to chicken out no matter what. Which is awesome, but i'm also pretty nervous about some of the bigger rides, especially since i keep thinking of Final Destination 3 ^_^;;(I have watched that movie way too many times :P )
The other day, me and my friends were discussing the trip, and we somehow got onto the topic of icecream and Detonator.
Here's the description of Detonator from the Thorpe Park site:
"An explosive, gravity defying drop ride that winches riders 100ft in the air before firing them back to earth at 75km per hour, with a G-Force of 5.5, the most G's the body can take!"
And we were thinking, suppose we took icecream on Detonator. We'd be sitting there, 100ft in the air, nervously awaiting the drop, icecream in hand, and then suddenly we're fired back to earth at top speed, and all of our icecream comes out of it's tubs/cones and ends up straight smack in the faces of the people behind us. xDD
Yes, we're a strange bunch, but i found the mental image of icecream hitting someone in the face at 75km per hour, amusing. What? Stop looking at me like that. xD;;
I was a bit disappointed by the weather forecast though. Today it's been all bright, sunny and dry. The perfect weather for a trip to a theme park. But the forecast for tomorrow, when we're actually going on the trip, says there WILL be sunshine, but also clouds and several showers throughout the day. Nuts! Couldn't they have switched Friday and Saturday's weather around or something? ._. I don't suppose it'll matter though. Even if it was dry the whole day, we'll still end up getting soaked when we go on Tidal Wave. There's no hope of going on that, and NOT getting soaked through. xD
Hopefully the trip will go ahead without any problems, and even if the weather isn't great, we'll all still have a great time. ^_^
Anyways, i have to go soon, since we're setting out pretty early tomorrow, but i'll be back afterwards to comment on everyone. I know Chey has a super special awesome graduation picture post waiting, and some icons! Speaking of the latter, i'm in love with your manga-colouring skills. <33 I've already yoinked both of those and i'll be back laters to comment. And steal more ;D
