Bobbi and Haley, Part One

Jan 08, 2006 11:32

I'm carrying on with Bobbi and Haley!

Bobbi hated everything in life that involved "staying the same". Especially her hair. You noticed in the previous entry, she was a brunette. She was born a brunette, was blonde in college, went back to being a brunette after college, and realized that she just looks a lot better as a blonde.

Bobbi loves to shop! She loves buying new clothes and especially since she received her mother's inheritance money recently, she does this often!

Besides Bobbi's sisters, she really only gets along with one other girl. Chrissy Kiss. They've been good friends since high school, but became best friends when she graduated college and moved right next door to her.

Of course, she has tried several times to meet new girlfriends, but.....they kinda have a problem with her attitude.

Quite frequently, Bobbi has men hitting on her. Usually the boring ones. She makes it very clear to them, that she wants nothing to do with them!

But because she's so beautiful, they rarely get the hint.

She finds herself having to get really nasty in order for them to just BACK OFF!

Indeed, she loves her sisters. With her mother gone, and because she was so close to her, she feels her four sisters are what keeps her sane. Her being the only one with a different father really never made a difference to any of them. She was a part of the family. Always.

Although Haley is much different than her older sister and concentrates more on her brain than her appearance, she still does find time to look good every now and then.

Haley loves to go out with friends. Out to eat, shopping, a movie, bowling...She's good at everything she does.

But 90% of the time, she's at home building her skills. She's a tough cookie, that one. But a sweetheart all around.

Her best friend in the entire world is, believe it or not, her younger sister Rayanne's husband, Amar Larrea. They dated once in highschool, for about a week, but they knew they were better friends than lovers.

The love of her life will always be Carl. She thinks of him constantly and cant wait to start a family with him.

He's always making her laugh, and a sense of humor is one of the most important things to Haley. She really does love him with all of her heart. But after being together for four years now, he still hasn't popped the question. It really makes her kinda nervous. Is he as serious about her as she is him???

But that doesn't slow her down from acheiving her goals. At only 23 years old, Haley fulfilled her lifetime want of Maximizing All Seven Skills! Woot!

And so the story begins......

"I cant believe you! Do you care about this at all????? Or me!!!" Bobbi screamed furiously at her fiance, Romeo. They had been fighting over the same thing for most of the day.
"Of course I care! How can you say I don't care? I care!" Romeo responded.
Bobbi paused, "That's your comeback? Wow, you're so clever! No wonder why you dont have a job!"

"How dare you! You know how difficult it is right now finding a job out there in this town! There's hardly anything available! I cant believe you sometimes, Bobbi!" Romeo was furious.
"Well there would be more available for you, Romeo, if you didn't drop out of college! That was unbelievably stupid!" Bobbi threw back at him.
"Well considering, I dropped out to be close to you, yeah, maybe it was stupid!" Romeo said without thinking.
"Leave! Now!" Bobbi screamed.

Romeo left without a second thought. Bobbi ran inside and invited Chrissy over.

As she waited for her best friend to arrive, she thought to herself. 'Maybe I overracted. Maybe he is trying. I mean, after all, he did drop out of college to be close to me. But UGH! Why would he do that??? How is he going to support me? Does he care about my needs at all?????' She was so confused.

Later on that night, Chrissy convinced Bobbi that she in no way overreacted.
"You have every right to be upset, Bobbi. He could get a job in another town. It doesn't have to be Sim City. I mean, for Sims Sakes, he's still living with his parents! You dont need someone like that. Think about it" Chrissy comforted her friend.
"Yeah. But...."
"No buts! You're in the right here. He's a loser. I know what you should do!" Chrissy said spontaneously.
"What?" Bobbi asked.
"Have a party tomorrow. Invite some friends over. Just forget about it for now. You two will talk about it later on when you guys aren't so mad."
"Yeah, I guess. Can you come?"
"Actually, no. I have a meeting all day. Ugh. Trust me, I would rather go to your party than go to a meeting with 8 horny bald men who will ridicule and criticize me for not being able to come up with 'intelligent ideas' just because I have breasts.
Bobbi laughed. "You poor thing"
Chrissy giggled, then sighed, "I'm used to it. I gotta go babe. Call me!"

Bobbi watched her best friend walk away as she thought about Romeo. She quickly erased her frustration from her mind and concentrated on the party.

The very next day, Bobbi did exactly what Chrissy had suggested. She threw a party. Not a large one. Just a couple friends, Rayanne, and Helayna. She did, however invite more people, but it seemed everyone was busy on that Monday morning! It definitely took her mind off of Romeo. It was exactly what she needed.

Her friend Billy always made her feel better. Billy Crampton had been a good friend of hers for a while now. In the beginning, when they had first met, Billy wanted nothing more than to be her guy. Bobbi didn't want that at all, but it didn't effect them from having a beautiful friendship. Bobbi felt she got along better with men, than she did women. Mostly because a lot of the women were just too jealous of her. Well according to Bobbi, anyway.

When Bobbi called Billy and invited him over, he had asked if it would be alright if he brought a friend. She had no problem with that. Especially when she met him. He was so dreamy.

His name was Joey Blackman. He was a real sweetheart. He was always complimenting her, making her laugh, and he loved to dance!

"You move great, Bobbi!" Joey said looking her up and down.
"Thanks. You're not bad yourself!" Bobbi smiled, and then realized how beautiful his eyes were.

Oh excuse me while I get the MAID OUT OF MY CHEST! *Ahem

Bobbi and Joey continued to talk about everything. College, work, friends, family, etc... She thought he was a very fascinating Sim. And reeeallly hot! The way his hair fell in his face drove her crazy. Bobbi's gaze was interrupted when she noticed her friends getting into the hot tub. She quickly changed into her bathing suit, when the telephone rang.

It was Romeo.
"Hey, what's up" he asked.
"How can you do that? It's irritating beyond belief!" she said angrily.
"Do what? I was calling to say hi!" he responded dumbfounded.
"How can you act as if nothing happened yesterday? As if you didn't say those hateful things to me! How can you act like everything is normal?" she said finding herself getting more irritated as she continued.
"Because it is normal!" Romeo said.
"I gotta go!" Bobbi hung up the phone before he could say another word.

She then turned to Joey and smiled sweetly, "Wanna get in the hot tub with the rest of us?"
"I'd love to" he said.

As they all were soaking, chatting, and having a good time, Bobbi noticed herself staring in his direction quite often. He was a beautiful man, and he was giving her what she hadn't felt in a long time. Butterflies!

When it was time for everyone to go home, Joey said abruptly, "You mind if I stay? I'd like to soak a little bit more." As he said this, he had the most beautiful smile Bobbi had ever seen. She felt a little nervous, but of course she said ok!

After everyone had gone home, Bobbi and Joey began to talk a little bit more. Now that no one else was with them, it began to get a little more personal. He was asking her about her past relationships and especially who that man was on the phone with her. She spilled everything and didn't realize how angry she really was with Romeo until after she had vented.
"You deserve so much better, Bobbi" Joey said calmly.
She smiled and turned her head.
"No, really. You do" he said again.

She looked at him and saw how sincere he really was.

She continued to flirt with him some more, until he took her hand, and said, "Come closer, Bobbi".

That's the end of Part One. :) :) :) Stay tuned my fellow Simmers!
