I must say that I really didn't want to like Captain America-honestly because Chris Evans got the role instead of Jensen Ackles. But then I was glad that he didn't because I didn't want his name attached to a genre that historically the fans crucify because of their portrayal of a character. I don't read books that are made into movies because they are two different forms of media. I know that no one else on the planet has my imagination therefore the movie is going to be completely different than how I see it in my head. Also there is no way that a movie in the limited time frame can give the detail that a 300 page book can....OK that was a tangent non related to Captain America or fanvids but I will leave it for future reference. :) In the end I did like Captain America and I like the movie...
The vid that I've got for you today is a look through Steve Rogers eyes. Steve is that buddy that you want in the trenches with you because you know that he has your back. He showed that in the Avengers with Tony Stark who he care little for but he puts his feeling aside and does what needs to be done. The reason why he was chosen to take the serum was for that reason and he has not forgotten that.
I also love this song. I'm think that man of us sit on the side lines and criticize the men and women that are put on the front lines(police, military) every day and asked to put their lives on the line for me. Who am I to say that you should have done it differently. The way I interpreter this song is that we sit in our nice comfy homes and can ignore it if we choose to, but they can't. it stares them in the face everyday, I have never seen someone killed and I hope to God that I never do but that is what out front liners see. It made be the bad guy but it is still a life and it has to be hard.
This post is a rambley soap box kinda post and I will probably read it later and think what the heck was I trying to say, so interpretations are available upon request :)
