100 Things Post-Avengers
I was talking with merathanel and decided that I would also set a goal to do 100 post on Live Journal. I like this idea for a few reasons the first being that I can truly say pretty much what I want to on here and I ding have to worry about it being taken the wrong way or being judge for it. I also know that it a closer knit community that is less worried about the drama and more about the relationship that you form with people that share the same interests as you. I can also indulge in my virtual obsessions without eyes seeing it that I don't want to. Being my kids and my husband, not that I have ever or ever will do anything but drool over well developed abs, arms legs and whatever else I have admired in the past. I real live I know that these guys are like every other man in the world and leaves him underwear and socks on the bathroom floor for some else to pick up. In all honesty I don't know that I would want to be married/involved wit one due to the crazy stalker fangirls that I and some of you have had the misfortune to be around. They drive me nuts and I'm watching from a less personal perspective.<----(comment I would not have made on Facebook :).
With all that being said I'm going to make an effort to do 100 post not sure how long it will take me, but I'm going to do my best. On to the subject of my 100 posts...
Fanvids, I love them! I love watching them, I love making them(I have not done so in a long while). I fell like there has been a dramatic decline in fanvids in the last few years and I think that is due in part to the threat of lawsuits. The music industry being much more incline to sue a fan than the movie/tv industry. merathanel and I have had the discussion about the trend in ordering cease and desist notices to fans and think that if they were smart they would use the fans as free multimedia staff. Personally I have bought music and Movies/Tv shows base on a fanvid that I have seen. I have read recently that it is considered an art form and is protected to a certain extent; because of this it has force many artist underground it has become harder and harder to find good fanvids.
That will be my mission to hunt down and rec fanvids that I like. Now, I'm obsessive, so if I find a fandom that I like I will obsess over that for a while. My current obsession is Chris Hemsworth, as most of you know, lucky for you guys he has had a few movies out lately so there are a few things to choose from.
My first rec is for the Avengers. I love this movie. I confess I'm not a comic book reader or fan in the paper form. I thought that the Avengers made me love character that I really did like in there own movie. I give part of this credit to Joss Whedon. He did an outstanding job with this movie all the characters were likeable to a certain extent--even Loki--I felt like after watching it that I knew the characters better than I did before and was invested in them.
This vids is a rocking vid with Nickleback:Burn it to the Ground and clean fast pased clips.
I hope you like I personally have increased the views on this vid by at least 100 over the last few days.
