Ch 2
Some time later, an hour, two, he didn’t really know, Kadaj slowly stirred from a short yet restful sleep. Warmth surrounded him on all sides and he smiled to himself as he sleepily rubbed his cheek against the chest in front of him. Yazoo's no doubt, since Loz was much broader. Reaching behind him, Kadaj groped for the hand of his eldest brother... only to realize it was much too small. A quick peek showed Kadaj that Loz was curled up behind Yazoo. So that meant....
With a sigh, Kadaj flattened his hand against Axel's chest and shoved backward with as much strength as he could muster. "Go home, Red," he murmured, wanting only to spend the night with his brothers as usual.
Jolted awake, Axel blinked trying to get his bearings. Looking around he realized he was still at Kadaj's and turned to frown at his lover. It wasn’t unusual for Kadaj to send him home after they made love but he was usually a little nicer about it.
Yazoo stroked soothing fingers through Kadaj's hair. "Gently love, gently. You don't want to offend your toy so soon," he whispered to his little brother careful that Axel couldn't here. With his free arm he gently nudged Loz awake. "Brother, it is time for our guest to depart. Time to say our goodbyes."
Loz snorted and sat up, rubbing blearily at his eyes. He gave a sad little smile to Axel and said, "Let's play again sometime. It was fun."
Not wanting Yazoo's fingers to leave his hair, yet compelled to listen to his brother's logical words, Kadaj whimpered at the injustice of having to be nice and turned to face Axel. "Sorry," he whispered, but only for the sake of regaining Yazoo's approval. "I've got to be up early so... as much as I'd love for you to stay, I'm afraid that won't be possible." The lie rolled easily off his tongue, the smile accompanying it just as fake, Axel never realizing he never meant it.
Axel's frown was replaced with a sweet smile, "Alright, I'll be going then. But first can I have a goodbye kiss?"
Sitting up, Yazoo settled back against Loz patting his hand as the eldest brother wrapped arms around his waist. "Thank you for the lovely evening, Axel. It was a pleasure to spend time with you," he said sweetly before giving an encouraging nod to Kadaj. He could tell something was up with his youngest brother and fully intended to find out what, as soon as the redhead left.
Wanting nothing more than to stick his tongue out at Yazoo in defiance, Kadaj, instead, grasped Axel by the back of the neck and pulled him close for a kiss. One that he hoped would make his brother jealous. Complete with tongue and little breathy moans as he practically crawled into Axel's lap.
Melting at the passionate kiss Axel returned it with interest completely convinced that Kadaj truly loved him and completely thrilled at the idea. When the kiss at last broke Axel was smiling, quite goofily, and continued to do so as he gathered and put on his clothes. "Goodbye love. I'll see you at school Monday." With that Axel left and headed home.
Once they were alone Yazoo freed himself from Loz's embrace and crawled to Kadaj. "Was that little show for my benefit, brother? Or have you truly fallen for your red haired toy?" Yazoo pouted ever so slightly and his yellow-green eyes appeared sorrowful. Of course, he was only teasing his little brother and knew Kadaj would see through the act but it was still fun to play.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" Kadaj asked cryptically, stretching out on the bed. He crossed his legs at the ankles and used his arms as a pillow to get more comfortable, since he was annoyed with Yazoo now and refused to use him as a pillow. "You should not ask questions that you may not be prepared for the answers of."
“Little love, what has upset you so? Surely you’re not mad that I teased you a little,” Yazoo asked coming closer to Kadaj and motioning for Loz to do the same. Their brother was clearly unhappy about something and Yazoo was not about to leave him in such distress. If Kadaj’s bad mood was indeed his fault he would take responsibility and do whatever was necessary to make up for it.
Worried Loz crawled to sit on Kadaj’s other side looking between his two younger brothers. It was rare for them to fight and Loz didn’t like it. Usually it was something he said that upset their touchy little brother and Yazoo who smoothed over the incident. Loz was at a loss as to what to do.
Sighing, Kadaj glanced from one brother to the next, his green eyes resting finally on Yazoo, who knew him so well. Loz did as well, but he was the better person to turn to when Kadaj just needed a nice big bear hug. The youngest brother usually went to Yazoo for his psychological needs, but he was upset with the older boy at the moment. And he showed Yazoo this by worrying his lower lip between his teeth in a pout that would make the most of emo kids jealous.
"You made me be nice to Red," he sniffled, playing up Yazoo's more sympathetic side. "I just wanted him to go home so I could be alone with you guys. I mean, don't get me wrong, the sex was terrific, but I'm tired of Axel. He's gotten too clingy." Not that Kadaj had room to talk since he was the same with his brothers, but they were family and the redhead was just some toy he'd seen and had to have. Now that he had him, Kadaj had, predictably, gotten bored with the toy and was ready to move on. "And... he enjoyed your company too much. You're my brothers."
“That’s why I made you be nice to him. You know full well you wouldn’t be satisfied with just telling him it’s over. Oh no, Kadaj. You want to play with him a little before breaking him. If you’d remained cold tonight he would have guessed what was happening and that would have spoiled your game,” Yazoo reasoned, he then tilted his head and smiled sweetly at his brother, “It was for your own good. Am I forgiven?”
Kadaj almost stubbornly refused to forgive his brother, but he did see the logic to Yazoo's words. Once again his brother had proven his keen insight into Kadaj's mind and adeptly pointed out the flaws in his thinking. The youngest sibling let out a frustrated sigh, then shifted on the bed until he could comfortable worm his way into Yazoo's arms. He really didn't know what he would do without his brother's looking out for him. "Yes," he said softly. "You're forgiven as always."
“Thank you, Otouto,” Yazoo murmured rewarding his brother with feather light kisses along his jaw before nipping playfully at his ear. “Will you tell us what deliciously wicked plan you have concocted for breaking your latest toy?”
A loud sniffle drew Yazoo’s attention from Kadaj and onto Loz who was looking quite depressed all of a sudden. “Loz, love. Whatever is the matter?” Yazoo asked both confused and concerned with his eldest brother’s sudden unhappiness.
“I like Axel. He let me be rough with him and even enjoyed it. I…I wanted to play with him again,” Loz sniffled again and wiped at his eyes before looking woefully at his brothers.
Kadaj blinked slowly, and then stared at his eldest brother. Normally Kadaj didn't mind Loz getting rough with him, but it had been essentially to his scheme that all the bruises and cuts he sustained in the past two months had had to come from Axel. Now he felt guilty for neglecting his brother's needs to pursue his own pleasure. Kadaj wriggled his way of Yazoo's arms and crawled onto Loz's lap, resting his cheek against his broad chest, listening to the comforting sound of his beating heart. "I've got one more evening planned with Axel, love, before I cast him aside and you're more than welcome to play with us. All right? Does that make you feel better?"
Heart aching for the hurt they’d given Loz, Yazoo also hugged their large loveable brother tight, “Don’t cry Loz. I love your rough sex. It’s just that I have a recital for my dance classes this week and can’t perform sporting bruises and contusions. I’m sorry we didn’t explain more clearly before.”
Wrapping an arm around each brother Loz gave one last sniffle. “Oh, okay then,” he said placated and smiling happily once more. “But he really was fun to play with.”
"It was fun for a while," Kadaj grudgingly admitted, slightly annoyed and jealous of Loz's stubborn fascination with the redhead. He found himself pouting again and would have crawled into Yazoo's lap, except for the fact that he knew what would only serve to upset Loz further and really did not like making his eldest brother cry. "However, nothing compares to you and Yazoo. You are definitely more fun to play with and the best brothers anyone could ever ask for."

“I’m home,” Axel called not expecting nor receiving an answer as he closed and locked the front door behind him. He walked further into his darkened home making for the flickering light that was coming from the living room.
There sitting in an old beat up recliner was Axel’s father. In his right hand was a beer can and at his feet the remains of six packs worth of emptied cans. His eyes were locked on the TV, the ever changing light from the device casting eerie shadows on the man’s gaunt features turning them almost skeletal in appearance.
Axel shuddered at the morbid mental comparison. He had been like this ever since the day Axel’s mother walked out of their lives. It was as though his heart or soul died that day and all that remained was his shell following the same routine day in and day out.
Some days were worse then others. Weekends were always worse then week days. During the week Axel’s father got up and went to work, returning home he would usually have only one or two beers before passing out. Occasionally Axel could even get a few words out of his father. On weekends Axel’s father never moved from the chair unless it was to retrieve more beer. He would drink his way through enough of the stuff to fill a small pond.
As often happened when he found his father in this state Axel felt an undeniable urge to illicit some kind of reaction from the man. Leaning in the doorway arms crossed Axel cleared his throat loudly. “I just got back from Kadaj’s place. I fucked him and his two brothers. Actually, I let them fuck me,” he said clearly and then waited for a response.
Unfortunately Axel’s words didn’t get as much as a twitch out of his father. Frowning Axel pushed from the door frame. “Are you even alive old man?” he asked harshly. Walking up he pressed two fingers to his father’s neck checking for a pulse. One of these days he expected to come home and find his father had drunk himself to death. This was not to be that day however. The strong pulse beat against his fingertips as the man stared unaware of everything but he picture’s on the TV screen.
This was going to be another bad night. Axel thought retrieving a blanket from the closet and covering his father with it. Turning he headed to his room knowing that he would find his father passed out in the same chair come morning. Nothing would budge him from that chair before then. Axel suspected that the house could burn down around his father tonight and the man would just sit there and burn with it.
Leaving his father to his vice Axel went upstairs to his room. Falling face first into bed he squeezed his eyes shut and wished he could have stayed with Kadaj tonight. Stayed where he felt loved.

The rumble of the motor died as Axel cut the engine. Looking up at the school building he grinned spotting the gaggle of girls just waiting for him. It was like this everyday. They simply couldn't get enough of him and Axel loved the attention.
Climbing from his motorcycle Axel stretched running fingers through his long, spiked red hair. He could feel his muscles tense and cord undoubtedly causing a sigh to run through the crowd of fan girls. Chuckling to himself Axel began to walk toward the building barely stepping onto the sidewalk before the girls descended on him.
They were all smiling, giggling and calling out various greetings. A particularly pretty little brunette stepped forward her cheeks already flaming red. "A-axel this is for you. P-please read it later," She stammered holding out an envelope with his name written in a flowing script across the front.
Inwardly Axel groaned, not another love letter. He hated having to reject his admirers but he was in love with Kadaj and would never think of accepting someone else's feelings. Removing his dark sunglasses Axel gazed down into the girls hazel eyes. "I'm sorry. I am flattered that you have feelings for me but I'm in love with Kadaj. So I can not return your feelings," he said gently refusing the letter. "A pretty thing like you will have no problem finding your true love. I'll be cheering for you."
All the other girls either sighed or squealed at the mention of his true love. The brunette smiled through tear brightened eyes and backed up until the crowd swallowed her. "Oh Axel is that a new shirt? It compliments your eyes," another girl complimented running fingers over the silk button up Axel had chosen to wear today.
"Why thank you lovely," Axel responded with a warm smile and a wink. The girl blushed and looked about ready to faint. Turning from her Axel began to make his way into the school building followed by the hoard of fan girls.
Leaning against the cool glass of one of many windows that dotted the hallway of the second floor of the school, Kadaj sneered to himself, unhappy with the scene he just witnessed. He should be one receiving all the attention. All the girls and boys should be going starry-eyed over him. Not over some loser who hadn't even been noticed until Kadaj had decided he would make an interesting play toy. It pissed the silver haired teen off and, as he turned to make his way to class, Kadaj vowed that not only would he bring Axel down from his impostor's pedestal, but he would turn everyone against him so viciously that Axel would have choice but to flee town in fear of life.
Making his way down the halls on the first floor Axel continued to play to his many admirers easily moving through the mob. A smile or casual touch was usually enough to satisfy any that blocked his way and for those that were more persistent Axel would profess his love for Kadaj and gently excuse himself. His devotion was one of the things that most drew his many fans. They all wished it was themselves that Axel so freely claimed.
Thus the day progressed from class to class. Axel was always surrounded by guys and girls competing to get his attention. While the attention was welcome it wasn't as satisfying as seeing Kadaj. It was a source of frustration for Axel that they didn't share a single class together and that lunch was one of the only times he got to see Kadaj at school. When lunch finally arrived Axel eagerly headed out in search of his silver haired lover.
Not at all in the mood for eating lunch, let alone the hoards of fan girls and fan boys that still remained loyal to fawning over him, Kadaj stood just outside the cafeteria entrance and waited patiently for Axel to arrive. He had already begin to whisper vague hints that all was not well with his relationship with Axel to a few select people. Though it was a to remain a 'secret' between himself and the girls he had 'poured his heart out to', Kadaj knew that by the end of the day many would be glancing sideways at Axel, wondering if it were true that he abused poor, helpless Kadaj.
The silver-haired teen smirked as he watched people rush by him, all eager for lunch and the day's gossip, and thought over how the weekend would unfold. By Wednesday of the following week, if not sooner, Kadaj he should effectively be rid of Axel and all the attention would be his to bask in once more with barely a word spoken. Action, they say, is louder than words and Kadaj would make damn certain that the right people knew of his 'viscous abuse' at the hands of his younger lover. With the 'battle wounds' to prove it.
Moving with the flow of the crowd Axel soon found himself approaching the cafeteria. There in all his glorious hotness stood Kadaj, clearly waiting for Axel. Weaving through the other students the redhead finally reached Kadaj and pulled his lover hard against his body, claiming his mouth in a possessive kiss. His arms wrapped about the smaller teen melding their bodies together. Breaking from the kiss Axel nipped at Kadaj's neck before whispering, "I've missed you lover."
"Did you?" Kadaj asked, burying his hands into Axel's fall of red head. It wasn't as silky or soft as Yazoo's but it was all he had at the moment to hold onto and if he concentrated hard enough, he could almost imagine it was his older brother holding him instead of Axel. At the very least they smelled the same since Kadaj had given his redheaded lover a bottle of the same cologne Yazoo wore. "Are you busy this weekend?"
"I'm all yours this weekend," Axel answered reluctantly loosening his hold on Kadaj. The teachers would be pissed if they caught them making-out in the halls. As it was they had already attracted a crowd with their public display of affection. It wouldn't do for Kadaj to get in trouble because of Axel but the tall teen had been waiting all day to see his lover. "Do you want me to take you out or will we be staying in again?"
"Staying in," Kadaj responded, reaching up to wipe away the faint trace of lip gloss now glistening along the redhead's lips. Kadaj was openly gay and had a few peculiarities, one of them being that he wore make-up on occasion, which made him stand out in a crowd. However, his classmates had learned very early on to leave him be. All thanks to his eldest brother Loz, who had made it very clear that if anyone one dared to make fun of Kadaj for being more effeminate than most guys in the school, they would be in a world of hurt. A lesson quite a few had learned the hard way before they got the message.
"Let's go sit outside," Kadaj said, taking Axel by the hand. "I'm not in the mood to be indoors anymore."
Staying in, that meant another night in Kadaj's fantasy oasis. Axel smiled against the older boys fingers not the least bit bothered with the gloss but more then willing to let Kadaj wipe it away. It had been a bit of a shock the first time his lover had shown up wearing make-up but Axel had been quick to admit that Kadaj looked good in it.
"Okay," Axel agreed adjusting their hands so their fingers were interlaced he allowed Kadaj to lead him out of the school building.
Leading the way towards the door that lead to the courtyard, Kadaj smiled politely with to all who greeted him. The smile however, never reached his eyes and held a hint of fabricated fear in them that caused more than one person took a second look. Then whispered to one another as their gazes fell on Axel. Inwardly, Kadaj gloated as he pushed the doors open and took a whiff of fresh air. Of the freedom from his burden that lay on the horizon. For in the eyes of his classmates, Kadaj had seen that his whisper campaign had taken off and the first part of his plan was now well in motion.
