PBB SELECTIONS CAMP 2009(:

Day One:

• Reported in full uniform at the bbcourt for uniform inspection and everyone passed!(:
• Photo taking, no one really initiated to help with much things:(
• Got into our different groups in the hall, PEACE;D
• Went to dorms to settle in and everyone made new friends;D I had super awesome people in my group!
• Had camp briefing and we came up with simple ice breakers to bond everyone, well kinda last minute but at least everyone played!
• Group planning time was awesome, we planned for 5BX the next day but was late for lunch duty, too complacent about many things but the group went through it together and thought of a punishment cause we were late for 17mins altogether:(
• Learn to report for attendance before every meal;D
• Did lunch duty and all, group bonded a lil more
• Devotion was awesome, message was clear but the session was abit dry
• Other groups led energizer, played some simple games to warm everyone up
• Had a sharing session on GB international & singapore, how each and everyone of us can help the less fortunate in whatever way we can(: I really wish i will have the chance to go for mission trips;D
• Games was done by MANDA's group, super awesome, had station games and played in our groups, we played the acting of skit game first, bollywood, monkey, burgers and cowboy movie, i think our lil skit made no sense but we had fun(: Bonded the group a whole lot
• Played dog&bone after that, but the more enthu ones were in a group, the less enthu ones were in another group so i think we didnt bond well enough in this game but we had fun(:
• Played bodyparts, everyone had contact with each other, hahah;D
• Lastly, pinball edition idk what, but it was super awesome;D Did the punishment together as a group and i felt that everyone really wants to do things together and all, really happy to see the group bond so quickly(:
• Went in to shower late by 30mins because we were late for 17mins during lunch duty and we learnt our lesson because from then on we ALWAYS have time check;D
• Talked a lil during dinner;D
• Had another session, sharing on becoming a woman of God, and we really learn alot, we have to have a heart of many things, and we must be GOOD stewards, learnt the 4Ts, more on salt&light of the world;D
• Came up with a short skit;D Super awesome, but didnt have time to act it out, so kept it for sessionTHREE.
• Evaluation was ok, just that not everyone opened up, maybe because it was still the first day(:
• Had supper then lights out, had a very nice rest, aircon was super cold but i had sinus:( Luckily i brought my medicine;D

Day Two:

• Woke up to wash up pretty early and led 5BX;D
• We felt that it wasnt so bad but i guess it just wasnt serious enough because we made it in a fun & easy way, lesson learnt.
• Quiet time then breakfast followed by group planning time
• Planned games for the next day and decided on three components, the mini games, main games and cool down game;D Super awesome group, everyone just threw in ideas and stuff and its really the team spirit and groupwork that made everything possible, of course with God's help too(:
• Devotion, the passion of Christ really touched my heart and i feel that i should try harder to persudae my parents to let me go to church and learn more about God(: Thanks sexiest for cheering me up after the session;D
• Had session on servant leadership, well, most of us attended the talk before but it serves as a really good reminder and we should really not only lead but learn to go to the extent of helping others and doing it with them and all;D REALLY learnt alot(:
• Did a simple peekture which shows our friendship, super awesome!
• Lunch was fine[not FILLING! but it shows how fortunate we singaporeans are to have ample food & shelter and yet we still complain most of the time:(] , and then it was URBAN HIKEEEEEEEEEEE.
• Well, not the hike i was expecting, we played games around kovan area and i happen to stay here so i know where are the places, more or less, figured out the first game w leaves! HAHAH:D
• Second game was super uber awesome, we worked together for 1.5hours to complete the skipping tast and i must say im really proud and happy for my group because everyone just work together so well!(: ESPECIALLY GIAM:D she's so awesome!(: and THANKS sharon for helping all of us;D SKIPPINGpro!(:
• Walked to NTUC to grab dinner, maggimee w ingredients w the money we had;D
• Outdoor cooking was... HAHAH;D abit busy with everything because yeah, but the group worked together, some of them did the cardboard thing, some with the cooking and we all ate and had awesome time together.
• Evaluation was slightly better, we sat in a triangle and more people shared about the day and all(:
• Lights out at the event hall because we were experiencing fast,food&fast[issit like this?] ohwells;D Slept on cardboard, and woke up with numerous aches, xD

Day Three:

• 5BX was torture, SQUADJUMPS!But completed it, so yeah
• Quiet time, did it in another approach but didnt have time to share:(
• Breakfast was not so bad;D
• Group planning time was awesome, we finished planning games, special night & abit of devotion;D
• Devotion was nice, the pastor broke down the chapter and tell us the meaning verse by verse(:
• SessionTHREE was the skits we did on dayONE;D but most of the groups did it in a funny way, so yeah, we should have done it more seriously(:
• Lunch, energizer, led by TWIN's group and twin led the cheers, SO awesome i must say, so proud of my TWIN:D Played the great wall of GB, nice game but abit rough, so yeah(:
• Session three was given to us to plan for special night and we finalised everything
• GAMES was planned by my group and im so happy they enjoyed playing it, although more safety precautions should be taken because many got carpet burns when playing AEIOU, xD, but its a really nice game;D
• Did dont forget the lyrics in a simple way, i came up with the idea cause we played it during our company camp so yeah, xD.
• So happy that all of us agreed to let LOVE shower first because they had dinner duty, TEAMWORK, super awesome as a WHOLE camp i must say;D I think all the PBBcampers really learn alot and really putting others before ourself.
• Dinner, ate ALOT, hahah;D Reverse psychology, hahahhaahh;D
• SPECIALNIGHT planned by esther's group, super well planned given a short period of time only *CLAPSSSSSSSSSS* hahah;D We all had fun and yeah, its really really awesome;D
• Guess what was fun, relaxing and TY officers for the chocolate/biscuit ;D
• Supper, last evaluation we really shared alot, and i really learnt alot from every group member and we hear stories from our officers;D
• Slept really late, 2am, xD!

Day Four:

• DIE, woke up late, 6.40am!
• So didnt have time to wash up, we did 5BX first, xDDD
• Then quickly washed up during QT and did QT, prayed for one another;D
• Breakfast, did a group prayer;D
• AREAcleaning, CHANGINGintofulluniform, COMPLETINGpeerassesment
• Had final devotion, screwed up ABIT, but overall i felt it was ok(:
• Lunch, so sad, last meal together:(
• Sharing & evaluation as a whole was super nice, most of us shared how we felt before we come for the camp and what we have learnt, super awesome that DAVINA shared about our company not being like this camp's campers though we knew them for so long and the campers here for only four day, really really, i think we really gelled together as a whole PBB2009.

PEACE GROUP MATES: [in no order(:]

1. SIBYL: Met her before the camp actually started because Esther introuduced us together;D Really happy to have come to known her and im so proud of her! She was counting down to the end of camp on the first day but on the last day she was so sad that its only 1hour left to break camp, so yeah, we really bonded well together, she's like the funny person who perks us up when we're slightly down, her expressions are the bombs, hahah;D SUPER nice friend i must say(:
2. ISABEL: Well, she became YOGA after our 5BX because she wanted to put in YOGA actions, hahah;D So cute of her, abit quieter in nature but her ideas are realistic and i think she thinks very well before she says something so yeah;D VERY nice person(:
3. SHARON: Pro-skipper!HAHAH;D Cause she just completed some sports thing in her school so her skipping's super awesome;D THANKS for guiding us in the game and yeah, your ideas and all, really appreciated, you should speak up more though! But i know you're a very cheerful person;D HAHAH, so coincedentally to have met you at KOVAN mrt toilet, hahah;D THANKS for being so awesome in the camp!(:
4. ETHEL: YOU! hahah;D the drill competition person, we talked about drill comp most of the time, i think cause its something we have in common, also a very funny person, super friendly, super nice, and yeah, always willing to help whenever;D THANKS YOZ!
5. HUIQING: BAH! end of friendship! HAHAH:D kidding luh, super awesome friend please, and born leader, have a uber fluent accent though she's purely singaporeans because she said no one really speaks singlish in her school, RGS seh, hahah;D But yeah, thanks for guiding ME and yeah, most of the time you're the one who tells us to behave, heh;D BUT someone fell asleep during one of the sessions and wrote rubbish on sibyl's paper, hahah;D
6. Elizabeth: I think she always puts God first, may be abit quiet at times but her words are always full of wisdom i must say, super happy to be in same group as you!(:
7. Faith: AHHHHHHHH, the super noisy one, like ME:D and fake me that dorcus is her cousin:( I feel so cheated for THREE days, hahah;D Maybe i should try it with twin please, LOL. Thanks for teaching me some things too, and yeah, always helping the group and taking the initiative to start leading something because yeah, and dont worry, you're NOT old, just one year older doesnt mean you're OLD i tell you! HAHAHHAHAH;D
8. Lilin: SUPER nice person, another one who says she's old but NO, you're very young ok, JC is still, hahah;D YOUNG PERSON! LOL, taking the lead most of the times and stuff;D THANKS for being in my group, really happy/glad to have known you in PBB2009.
9. Shuhan: I CAN SEE YOU ANYTIME!(: HAHAH, cause i live opposite your school, LOL. But yeah, although you're slightly quieter but you always have the smile on your face, super nice person;D And you're really awesome, coming to PBB without any friends at first, like from your company but we came together as a group really well and yeah, really glad to have known you;D
10. Sarah: GIAM! hahah;D i learn that most people call you that so i shall call you that too if you dont mind, someone who has SO much perseverance, super awesome;D TY for being so awesome!(:
11. JOY: VICEheadprefect uh!(: HAHAH, i think you're also a born leader, always contributing ideas and sometimes when you're quiet, its because you are thinking of what is the best way to help the group, really glad to have known you so MUCH better in PBB;D
12. MrsCHONG & MsPANG: TY so much for guiding our group, teaching and helping us along the way and yeah, there's nothing to measure or words to put into how much im grateful for officers like you, and im so inspired because of your passions for GB(: I WILL come back to serve whenever possible, really a big THANKYOU to you officers;D

AWESOME JOB YOU GUYS!I THINK ALL OF US SHINE TOGETHER;D ALWAYS HELPING EACH OTHER WITH NO CONDITIONS, REALLY THANK YOU ALL FOR TEACHING ME AND LETTING ME SEE WHAT IS TEAMWORK, UNITY AS A WHOLE CAMP!
