bad, bad, bad just what are you gonna do
As bad as I've been at keeping this up-to-date, I don't think I've ever gone this long without updating.
I'm sorry.
In my defence, not too much to talk about. It's like my friend keeps asking me what I'm up to every time he talks to me (usually through twitter) and all I can tell him is I'm at work. Perils of having a 9-5 (or 8-4, close enough). I'm always at work, and the job is the same every single day, just the same tasks repeated, over and over and over again.
I've agreed to keep my contract going at least to the end of October, which gives me 3 1/3 months to find something else, which I think it's probably about time I do (not that I'll be letting work in on that little secret). It's just, it's time to find me a job with some benefits, and for the love of all that's holy SOME PRECIOUS VACATION TIME.
Got new glasses! Does that count as a life update? This might: I ACTUALLY LIKE THEM. *Everyone falls dead of shock* Yes Justine has finally found a pair of glasses she doesn't hate the way she looks in, HOORAY. And I *finally* got prescription sunglasses too, because my right eye is so shit that I can't go without my prescription for long without massive headaches, and so I was letting myself be blinded by the sun instead. NO MORE.
Shit was crazy expensive... over $800... and I've got no insurance so I was on my own for the bill. Fun. But hopefully should be worth it.
As has been the case for the past few weeks, all my spare time is being devoted to writing. Clearly not lj entries, haha, but fics. God, OUAT has made me weak.
Made time to watch the premieres of The Amazing Race Canada and the reboot of Whose Line is It Anyway this week though. I usually don't like Canadian editions of reality shows (not a huge fan of reality period actually, aside from The Voice and even that keeps pissing me off because America is dumb), but the opportunity to see some of the fabulous places and things my beautiful country has to offer is too much to resist. I'll keep watching. As for Whose Line, OMG IT'S STILL FANTASTIC AND HILARIOUS AND I LOVE IT AND THANK GOD IT'S FINALLY BACK AND THEY'RE DOING IT RIGHT AND I LAUGHED SO HARD HOORAY.
Squealing everywhere over Comic Con right now, specifically OUAT at Comic Con. It's basically all about Snow/Charming and Ginny and Josh (that is the entire explanation of my obsession with this show).
And so this has ended my life:
I am just so completely in love with how in love they are with each other.
Seriously though, if I could find someone who loves me a tenth as much as Josh loves Ginny, I'd be set for life. It's all I want, someone I love, and who loves me, and we want the same things (because you KNOW Josh and Ginny are both baby-hungry... as am I).
Anyway, the pictures just made the whole fandom blow up, and the panel was an hour or so ago, so soon we'll get videos and gifs and we'll all die. So if anyone needs me, I'll be off fangirling.
