Happy Halloween!
I just got home last night from Naples. I wasn't planning on going there until Thanksgiving, but a) Johnny invited me down and b) I wanted to see everything after the hurricane. The "devastation" wasn't too bad, but it wasn't good either. Trees that had been there all of my life are no longer standing, and of course they took about 15 feet of ground in each direction around them.
I spent the weekend with Johnny, and for the first time we did not part on bad terms. Usually whenever I leave Naples we fight and argue, but for the first time I was able to leave without crying and screaming. It was pleasant. We got into one fight, but everything is ok now. Johnny took me to breakfast on both Saturday an Sunday mornings. We met up with his friends and played D&D all night on Saturday. We had an absolutley fabulous radio show on Sunday! And all in all a great time together. I think things will be better now... or at least I hope... today has been good so far, so we'll see!
