[Guess who hasn't posted in a long while? Yeah, that's right. ZZZZT!] Ahh! [zzt.] Okay, okay, I get it.
Ow. All right, I believe that's been confirmed. Professor Layton was correct. It really is a period of two weeks or more. But the time is still debatable until more experiments with it are done. Hm.

And I do not find the fact that time has stopped for me back home comforting.* I find it extremely disturbing that not only are these scientists kidnapping people from parallel universes, they are also messing with time.
It is time I had a chat with these scientists. I have been told that they sometimes can be contacted through these...devices. How exactly would I go about contacting them?

...You are not the only one. However, I wouldn't begrudge those who do have things to do in their worlds that small hope if they take it. Not everyone is strong and can adjust to being taken to another world like this.
As for contacting the scientists, I'd suggest generally making a post directed at them using the names "Ace", "Green" or "Lolita". I'm not sure how effective it would be since it seems like they'll only answer if they feel like it. Someone mentioned they post at times too...

I see. That doesn't change the fact that they are interfering with forces that are beyond them. Sooner or later they'll misstep, and everyone else will be the ones to suffer.
That you for your information. It has been most helpful.

[sob my canon. Syaoran is not the best person to defend the scientists even if he wished to.] Yes, I know but I've no right to judge or punish them so I won't. Still...what they have done is a grave sin. And whether or not that hurts or helps the people here is yet to be determined.
You're welcome. I'm only sorry I couldn't have been more helpful.

I seriously doubt they intended to "help" anyone but themselves. At the very least, they could have asked before whisking people away.
Don't worry, you have already given me all that I need. However...I would like ask what language you were speaking at the beginning of your post. I am not familiar with it.

It's probably not their intent at all but it could still prove to be helpful in the end. However, that doesn't justify their methods so I agree with you.
Ah, all right. Eh? Oh, it's called "Japanese" where I come from. Here, I'm not sure it's named so but I recognize more than a fair share of people speaking it. Are you from a world that speaks english or another language entirely?

Helpful would have been being left right where I was. I have a class to teach, and even if I do end up at the same point in time, I don't appreciate having this extended break in the middle of it.
"Japanese"...I haven't heard of it. And I am familiar with all the languages on Discworld. Obviously, your world and mine are not the same.
English? I haven't heard of that language either. Mostly, I speak Morporkian, though I can speak many other languages, of course.
[[ooc: Morporkian = English]]

I sympathize and I'm sorry you ended up here as well. You're a teacher?
... [o__O] "Discworld"? "Morporkian"? Those are terms I never heard of before even during his travels... So it's true that we are from different worlds then. Hmm.
Would it be all right if I could hear what your language sounds like? If I remember correctly from my friends it might be something I know but called something else because of the different worlds.

Yes, I am a schoolteacher. Discworld is the name of my...well, not planet, you can't really call it that...my home world. Morpokian is the language I speak. I have found that there are others who speak it - perhaps you will know it.
[voice, Morporkian/English]
Can you understand me?
Reply
No. I couldn't understand a word of that. It does sound similar to the English language that some people here speak though.
