some random cosplay thoughts
Click to viewOkay, so I was thinking about my cosplays today and decided to boot the idea of doing Miku. There are a number of reasons despite how much I'd really like to do her but it just costs too much money. SO, I've decided to instead do Lightning from FFXIII. She is actually a character I've been wanting to do for a while now, ever since I've seen her design.
HOWEVER, I've encountered some indecision. While there are decent costumes already made to buy online on ebay....I don't really want to buy them anymore and would prefer to make it. Plus, most of these costumes aren't as accurate as I'd like and making them would be much more up to my standard. BUT, see the but again?, Lightning has a lot of leather on her and one, measly piece of armor. A lot of leather isn't so bad, I can use pleather and suede for it but it's still expensive. On top of that, finding the right material in the right colour is proving to be difficult.
So, basically I'm not going to make a decision now. I need to talk to my dad, who'd actually be buying all this.
