Not an Expert, but hearing myself say it helps me put it into practice....
On an unrelated note- Some people make huge, unnecessary, nonsensical, webs of confusion out of their own lives out of fear of doing what they really want or need, for the sake of protecting their friends (and their own asses) at times. Friends and family are left trying to decipher their little puzzle, and everyone ends up miserable.
WOW. Aren't I just a ray of sunshine?
Live a life with no regrets. Don't wait til it's too late on something and end up asking "What If?" for the rest of your life. Don't hold grudges, and don't sacrifice or compromise your long-term goals and personal well-being. The amount of time you've spent on one path of life should never be a reason not to create your own path if the one you're on makes you unhappy. Time should never be the glue that holds you together.
This has come up a lot lately in letters. I am trying not to live life as a coward behind closed doors. If you do, you're life will pass you by and you will have only been able to look in on it from the outside with a sigh. We'll see how much progress I make at this....
