Oh, S. This is wonderful. Aside from the fact that now I'm totally dying to know what the Nox want, there's so much richness and humor in this, and of course it hits my season nine Jack-in-Washington kink, with all the accompanying issues. Yum.

You know, I burst out laughing at this line, and then it struck me -- this is *normal* for them, and I *love* the way you incorporate it into the conversation as normal, and they just move right along. It's perfect. *g*

Jack snorted. “I hope you left a warning for whoever digs him up.”
“That sort of thing only encourages vandals.”

Daniel slid Jack a sidelong glance. “I did think about asking for a tombstone with eight tiny reindeer, though. After all, he was a Dutchman named Nicholas, and he did die on Christmas Day.”*g* Awesome dialogue, and more than that, it's ultra-funny, insightful, *and* true to character

You just can't say "giant aliens" without smiling, can you? Those poor folk probably have a real name by now, but since neither Jack nor Daniel can yet pronounce "Goa'uld," I expect they'd dispense with the formalities.
