It's Sunday, and the many denizens of my apartment complex are really outdoing themselves to be as dickish as possible by slamming every door, setting off every dog, gunning every engine/revving every squeaky timing belt, and cranking up every sound bar in the place. I am not feeling mellow about this. (My rage quotient was already elevated. Thanks, hormones!) Not unrelated, for every second of every minute since I posted my Finn/Poe story this morning, I've been fighting an extremely strong urge to take it down. Not just that story, but mostly that one. Because brains are weird and unreliable, and have to be switched to the ignore setting. After I make this post, I'll eat some chocolate and watch Venom with headphones on (haven't seen it yet), and probably I won't be homicidal toward the neighbors after that. Maybe. I am grateful, though, that I'm not traveling this weekend, as was planned. Small blessings.
