james asked me: favorite holiday song? Does it mean anything specific to you or do you just like the way it sounds?
O Come O Come Emmanuel is my fave, and has been for years. I love to sing it, and it gives me ~feelings~, and I love the way it sounds, and all the history of at least two different religions I hear embedded in those beautiful minor chords. This is an absolutely gorgeous version, by the Piano Guys.
