a bit of sad news

I saw on blue_meridian's journal that sidlj passed away unexpectedly. I didn't know her well, but I remember that we had mutual friends back in our SG-1 fandom days several years ago. She was in SG-1 fandom a very long time. I think several people on my flist knew her, so just wanted to make sure all who might want to know had seen this news. Brief note and obit

I only knew her through her fanfic, but I am sorry for your loss.

It just struck me that I know so many people online (way more than in Real life although more of them as casual acquaintances) that it's going to be really tough in 30+ years as people start falling sick due to age :\
