Yuletide author reveals are done, and now I can discuss my stories!

Little Murders
L.A. Confidential, Bud White/Ed Exley, 3374 words
Summary: The scars still linger: too deep to touch, too raw to heal.
Notes: Beta by oxoniensis and nestra.

Burn
Wiseguy, Sonny Steelgrave/Vinnie Terranova, 1194 words
Summary: Loyalties shift and are reborn in fire.
Notes: A yuletide treat for astolat. Because I told her a long time ago (YEARS AGO) I'd write this pairing for her someday. :D

Offerings to Mars
Ben-Hur (1959) Messala and Judah Ben-Hur, gen, 1298 words
Summary: One last hunt, before Messala leaves for Rome.
Notes: A Yuletide treat for alteregon. Beta by oxoniensis.

I'm so pleased by how this Yuletide turned out! Mine were the only stories in each of these fandoms this year, which I think is the first time that has happened to me. It also shows how tiny these fandoms are, or in the case of Wiseguy, how tiny they have become. I was pretty thrilled to see that there were other Ben-Hur fans out there - who knew? Honestly, I was shocked someone other than me requested it this year. And even though the recipient of my main assignment never responded to it (unless they used another pseud I don't recognize), the story found its niche, and that brings me a great deal of joy. Also, I was able to keep a personal Yuletide tradition going: I had not written stories for any of these fandoms before.

MEANWHILE, the amazing Captive Prince story for me - Two Princes - was written by oxoniensis. :D :D :D I suspected her magic was at work there, but you can never be sure about these things! I already loved it more than pie, but this just sent me over the moon.
