Merlin post-finale fic recs
Links to a few of the fics I especially liked. I'm sure most of you have seen or read them already, but just in case you haven't and you find yourself looking, here you go. Caveat: I've been doing family holiday things and traveling, and I haven't read the majority of what's out there, yet, so this is just a few faves. I'm going to put them under a cut because of spoilers.
Hold My Heart Until it Beats by xfortytwo - M/A. Arthur POV as he waits in Avalon.
Forever by corilannam - M/A. A different take on how waiting works.
ever on and ever back by SomeTorist on AO3 - M/A. Merlin waits, and his waiting is rewarded.
Old Love, But In Shapes That Renew and Renew Forever by leopardwrites on AO3 - M/A. Beautifully written; the reunion is wonderful.
Til the End of Time Together by nu_breed - M/A. Merlin forgets.
Wherever You Go by thesprayofstars on Tumblr - Merlin/Gwaine. A fix-it which does not resurrect Arthur, but saves Gwaine. I'm reccing this because it's outside the norm of what's currently being written.
Standing Alone, Waiting by giselleslash - Arthur doesn't just return once.
