Thing one: I talked myself out of doing merlin_holidays because I just won't have the time (or sufficient brain cells). Also, I have plenty of Merlin stuff to finish writing.
Thing two: With one hour and 15 minutes to spare, I decided to make some Yuletide nominations. I'm not at all sure I'm going to participate, but I just wanted to be sure there was something in there I was halfway interested in writing or requesting.

Thing four: MERLIN MERLIN MERLIN IS ALMOST HERE!!! :D Yeah, there is a strong possibility I will be actually sitting in front of the computer refreshing every 10 seconds once the time comes Saturday afternoon, because I know the interwebz will provide. IT HAD BETTER. Oh my god, MERRRRRRRRRRRRLINNNNNNNNNNNN IS COMING. (Fairly frequently, if the fic is to be believed.)
Thing five: I'm sure all of you have seen the delicious new Merlin cast photo shoot. But then they released the promo pics of Arthur and Merlin sittin' in by a tree, and OH GOD MY HEART. They are everywhere on LJ and tumblr (here for instance), but.
This one is my favorite.
But this one is a close second.
