Big Bang!
I'm all done with my five millionth round of Big Bang revisions, and the story is off to my excellent and tough betas for the bloodletting. I have the first posting date - June 6, which is coming up SO FAST, OMG. I envy all you guys who have another month for editing. *g* culper355 is hard at work on her art, and I'm excited to see what delicious things she creates!
Winter
Sam/Dean, R
On a snowy, wooded mountain in 1992, John Winchester turned a ramshackle cabin into a refuge for his boys and taught them how to survive. Sixteen years later, as Dean's deal with the crossroads demon comes due, Sam leads his brother back to the safety of that isolated training ground. Haunted by memories of the past and sudden visions of a hellish future, Sam makes a choice to embrace his powers and set a different fate in motion. As winter closes in on the mountain, Sam and Dean grow closer, and Sam grows stronger...but the clock is ticking.
I have also been beta reading on the side (in the twenty ten minutes a day I have allotted for that, sigh), and one of the things I've read is a fantastic J2 AU, which just made me even more ready for Big Bang to start. As a reader, I'm always excited when Big Bang season rolls around. I read several terrific stories last year from fans I wasn't familiar with, and I enjoyed them greatly. Plus stories from favorite writers, too. Long, delicious stories, coming to my reading list practically every day for months on end!! There is nothing but happiness in that. :D
