I generally don't read this pairing, but I trust you... and trust rewarded, because the Castiel characterization is much closer to canon than I usually encounter. Nice.

This was lovely. I adore fics that explore who Castiel really is, that he is more than his vessel.

saw him as he was and as he could be, knowing he was seen the same in return. I think this sums up my love of Dean/Castiel, that they see each other as they really are.

I think that's part of what I love about them, too; Castiel has no illusions about Dean, but loves him anyway, and Dean sees Castiel's flaws and doesn't care that much. *g* Thank you for the lovely feedback.
