I got this from
sherinyb and was awarded the letter E.
The premise is that if you have a blog and leave a comment on this post, I’ll assign you a letter. You take that letter and make a list of 10 things you love that begin with that letter. Then, you pass on the letter love to the bloggers who make comments on your post. It’s creative *and* social!

1. Eating--does a body good, and quite enjoyable to boot. Especially chocolate, but that doesn't begin with E. Chocolate Eclairs, then. Fine.
2. the Earth--the beauty of it from space (I'd love to experience that firsthand someday), the feel of it under bare feet, the smell of leaves returning to it in the Fall.
3. Ears--especially for hearing music, but also for being heard by others--and ears of corn, which is finally all harvested as of Monday
4. Eyes--for seeing with, and for looking at too...communicative and beautiful and structurally fascinating; what more could one ask for?
5. Electricity--enabling this here communication across vast distances, and the subtle signals inside my own brain. Electrons are pretty impressive.
6. Education--traditional and non-. I'm definitely glad for my chance to get what amount I have, and that books are plentiful and affordable for getting more on my own.
7. Elegance--from rational proofs to home decor, I would rather the things I do be described as 'elegant' even than 'beautiful.'
8. Elders--Especially, perhaps, my forebears, but let's face it: wise old(er) people are rare and valuable.
9. England--One of the too-few places I've been outside the US, and definitely my favorite. Must return to live there if literary aspirations bear fruit!
10. Etymology--Words rule, and as an intuitive thinker, the web of meanings (past and present both) is important as well as intriguing.
