Q&A

So, we've had some questions asked here, on Tumblr, ect.

Ones that don't have immediate answers in the Rules or Guidelines, will be answered here!

Question:
What is a Reverse Bang?

Answer:
A Reverse Bang is a challenge where artists submit their art, and then writers claim that art for a story. The Destiel Reverse Bang can be considered the opposite of the DeanCasBigBang, except our word count minimum is 3k.

------------------------------------------------
Question:
Why can't I sign up as both artist AND writer?

Answer:
Due to the nature of most Bangs, reverse or otherwise, there are always more writers than artists. We don't feel it would be fair to those who are just writers if artists were allowed to do both.
HOWEVER: Artists will be allowed to pinch-hit, if art goes unclaimed, or if a writer drops out along the way.

------------------------------------------------
Question:
Are we allowed to draw or write multi-person ships, like JMDV, or Dean/Cas/Benny?

Answer:
Artists: If you wish to draw a poly-ship, you may do so, as long as the main subjects in the art are Dean/Cas or Jensen/Misha.
Writers: If an artist doesn't have it listed as OK to do multi-pairings, then please consult before writing a fic with that in it.

------------------------------------------------
Question:
But I don't have a LJ account, or haven't used it in years!

Answer:
We understand that LJ isn't the most popular format any more. BUT, since the art preview and claims posts will be member-locked for privacy, we must ask you create an account, and join the community if you wish to participate.

------------------------------------------------
Question:
What about pre-slash?

Answer:
The fics or art can be any rating from General to Explicit. We WILL allow pre-slash, as long as the fic's main relationship focus is Dean/Castiel or Jensen/Misha.
You can UST the fic so hard, it will seem like canon!
BUT MAKE SURE YOU LABEL IT AS PRE-SLASH!

------------------------------------------------
Question:
As an artist, does any side-pairing have to be in the picture, or can we just list side-pairings we like? for instance: "side pairing for this or that, otherwise no side pairing?"

Answer:
You don't have to draw the side pairing, it's there for you to list any side-pairs you might wish to see.
Also, this is also where you can mention if it's OK for Cockles or multipair interpretations.

------------------------------------------------

Extra:
We understand that with the ratio of writers to artists, there will be some writers who will not get to claim an art piece. We suggest being available as a beta, or to see if an author is willing to co-write a piece with you.

More will be added as more questions come in!
