Well, I know that LJ is pretty public, but I freaking don't care. This is a journal, right? So I can post whatever I want and, now, I wanna complain about my fucking family! Let's complain cause who doesn't like it?

Anyway, I'm sorry about your dad. It must have been traumatic. I cannot imagine how that feels. You're strong for pulling through, taking care of your family the best you can and I think it's good that you wrote some of your problems out. It's a good feeling.
And geez... you're only 17! You're doing so much already! I'm glad you have friends that you can talk to and even if you've become 'meaner', I hope they understand why and help you out. I have a friend who had to grow up before her time and I'm so proud of her. She still makes mistakes, but I admire her so much for pulling through her hardships.
As for your brothers... sounds like what my sisters say to me. Especially since they're boys. Don't take it seriously. 100% of what they say are LIES! LOL! I think your siblings are just... not in the stage you are in maturity. You may be a year older than your sister, but you're still the oldest so all the responsibility automatically falls upon you. It sucks, but life's not fair all the time. Just make sure you have ways to cope -- writing about it is a great way! Having lots of support is awesome too! I think you're doing fine. Just stay strong!
And keep doing what you love and if it's writing about slash, then so be it! Good luck with your novels!
