Hi Destial!

I've found Supernatural just a few weeks ago. They're showing the third season in tv in my country now and that's how I found this series. I watched few episodes, then decided to watch the two first seasons before continuing the third 'cause I just fell for the boys and wanted to get to know them from the very beginning.

I had read Torchwood's creator Russell T. Davies say about this series: "I recommend they [fans of Ianto Jones] go watch Supernatural, because those boys are beautiful. And don’t tell me they’re brothers. [Laughs] Not in my mind." This sentence had stuck in my mind and so from the very first episode me neither could see Sam and Dean as "just" brothers. *guilty grin* And then I of course had to google some stuff, and that lead me to your lj-site. I'm quite happy it happened!

This continuous fic of yours is just what I've hoped for! I've read quite much fanfiction (not so much about Supernatural yet, but other stuff) and this belongs very close to the top of my list. Your characterisation of both the boys is very close to my own feeligs about them. Love Dean: so tough and "nothing touches me" outside but so soft, vulnerable and insecure inside. And love Sam: on the other hand very young and inexperienced but on the other hand so strong and knows what he wants and takes it, still sensitive. Your way to describe especially Dean's feelings and thoughts is good and insightful - enough details. And the way you made things move on so slowly - love it! That's just the way I want to read it. There's no point in going "into action" so very fast - what comes after that? Thank you for thinking about that. And I like to read about pre-series happenings and feelings - gives me whole new and different (and, well, the right) way to watch those episodes. :D

So, I wrote all this to tell you how precious this fic of yours is to me. Guess you have lots of fans, but you should know that I definitely am amongst them! I hope you put as much effort to write the rest of this fic as careful and affectionately as you have wrote the previous parts. I can't go to bed before I've read my daily dose of this fic. :) I wish you all the well and hope you continue writing also after this fic has come to it's end.

Thank you, Laulaulu! I'm honored that you would be so touched by my fanfic and glad that you like my characterization. You know, I got involved in Supernatural in almost the same way. I woke up one morning and the season 2 finale was playing. I just fell in love with Dean and his devotion to Sam an I went an watched the first two seasons and then the other three.

Seriously, I'm flattered. I don't even know an appropriate response. And I am thinking about writing something between Tempest and Land. Still have a week left of the challenge and I'm not sure if I'll write it before then.

I'll definitely keep writing. This NaNo definitely has overtaken my livejournal but I'm working on other projects too and December is going to be basically all about filling out my bingo cards. I might have to take a small break from Sam/Dean... they've kind of hijacked my November. But they'll show up again eventually. It'll probably be mostly Dean/Cas and Dean/Lisa or gen until January though.
