Hon, what a fabulous fic! I loved it! Your Dean voice was great - spot-on characterization, what with the mix between jokey inner monologue and pathos (oh, Dean!). Your descriptions of Castiel were perfect, too. I particularly loved the bit where he's just listening to the sounds of everyday life. Beautiful.

I really like stories where two people have sex because of confused or puzzling circumstances, and you cooked up a pretty convincing scenario here. It was well-handled, and I enjoyed the way you dealt with the "other hooker" by restricting it to a knock at the door, rather than turning it into a big scene of confrontation and realization. The sex was achingly sweet, and you really tugged on those heartstrings. Poor Dean, who will never, ever be able to recognize his true value! Poor confused Cas, who is having one hell of a first day on earth! Anyway, I loved this whole story, and it is always SUCH a pleasure to read a new Dess story. I wish you posted more, but I can't complain when you give us such perfectly polished jewels like this fic. Thanks, hon!
