Supernatural recs (Dean/Castiel, Dean&Sam)
Wow, what a gorgeous, deft story. Of Storms and Sanctuary, by bree-black.
The author's summary starts off with "After a hunting accident, Dean lies asleep in a hospital bed. Castiel visits Dean’s dreams, intending to investigate why Dean hasn't woken up." And what happens after that is just so moving and right, I can't even tell you.
And it actually goes really well with this vid, I think. I often like fast-paced, action-heavy vids, but this slow, thoughtful vid was really moving, and made me think back to times when Dean and Sam were less broken, and so much more of a unit. That's always been the heart of the show, and it's been so sad to see that leach away over the seasons. Here's hoping they get it back. Upward over the Mountain, by secretlytodream.
