A Typical Tuesday Evening (AtS)

Back in October, tesla321 asked me for an Angel birthday fic. Because she *knows* how I feel about that sort of thing. So I tried, because she is awesome, but... yeah, I gave her something else. Anyway, here's the general idea. Call it an experiment.

Well, I can see how you could go all the way with Lilah, the wench, but I also can see how you couldn't write any more! It's funny just the way it is, so thanks! "I don't swing my hips that much!"

The stuff in my head was funnier than I could get it on the computer screen. dessert_first February 20 2007, 02:02:40 UTC
Ah, you know how much I love Lilah. She totally wants her own body back, but in the meantime, she's all groping her new dick and going "I always *knew* having one of these would be fun! I'm gonna go stick this in somebody!" and Angel's all "Hey! That's MY dick!" and she's all, "Yeah, cause you use it *so* much," and it all goes downhill from there. And she goes to see Wesley to enlist his help breaking the spell and while she's at it, give him the best kinky-sex-surprise *ever* and he's all, WTF? and thinking it's Angel come to finally kill him for stealing baby Connor. And she goes to the Hyperion to pass herself off as Angel so the AI gang will give her some valuable MacGuffin and Gunn thinks there's something off about Angel and can't figure why Angel keeps hitting on Cordelia and... um, stuff. Some of which I have written snippets of ( ... )

There's more of this, right? I mean, bodyswitched Angel and Lilah? Equals AWESOME.

Bwah! I'm glad you found the concept AWESOME, but there's no more story, just some random snippets on my computer. I replied to Tesla's comment above with some of my ideas for the story, but I have this deep, almost pathological aversion to writing Angel, so I couldn't go through with it.

And then I though, heck. This ficlet is actually funnier on its own, with them driving off into the night, leaving the hilarious hijinks to come up to the reader's imagination, you know?

Although, if you really like the concept, I would totally encourage you to run with it, because I'd love to read it.

I agree that it's funnier left as is! And I'm deeply moved that you wrote as much as you did. It's a matter of amusement to me that you and I are so close, given your aversion to Mah Woobie.

I prefer to think of it as having complementary personalities. And, of course, a genial rapport that allows us each to look beyond the other's feelings about... *cough*.
