And one billion dollars thanks to the ever fabulous tesla321 for helping me out of the inspirationless hole I'd dug myself into and providing key lines of dialogue.

Well, it's not a pairing I ever considered either, to be honest. But hey, that's the fun of ficathons, right?

There should totally be a sequel; in fact, a whole series based on their hilarious hijinks as they alternately vamp, flirt and steal their way through Italy, with occasional time outs to explore their special freak powers. Sadly, I really don't think I'm the one to write it. I'd sure read it, though.

You know, I was saying just the other day that there should be Dawn/Gwen futurefic, completely forgetting that this had been requested. Yay! I really loved this! Gwen teaching Dawn to be a thief - I love that idea!

Also, I feel like a gigantic dork, because just pointed out to me that she has a Gwen/Buffy story with the same title, and it's extremely likely I ripped off her title without even realizing it. So I've changed the title to "How to Tame Your Inner Freak in Six Easy Lessons," for lack of something better, at least as an interim title. Could you please change it in the ficathon master list? And thanks again for running the ficathon... this was a challenging pairing, but I totally had fun with it in the end. :D
