My Academic Advisor Sucks :(
I never thought I'd be so worried about a semester that is so far away, but I'm terrified. I got screwed over by my advisor, who decided not to mention that an important pre-req course is only offered twice per semester. I missed out on taking it in the fall semester last year, so I figured everything would be fine and I'd be able to take it this winter semester. Well, that didn't work out. Now I'm kinda screwed.
I was able to get into this class for the fall semester, but that messed up my plans for my last year of college before student teaching. We are advised not to take these two courses together because they are very work intensive and require 3 hours at a school during the day and a 3 hour class at night. Guess who has to take these courses together. That's not even the worst of it. On top of that, a paper that I have says that one of the courses I need to take in the winter semester requires another course I now have to take in the winter as a pre-req, but when I look it up in the course description book it doesn't mention it. I'm hoping that the course book is right, not the paper....otherwise I'm screwed even worse than before. Also, I have 3 curriculum classes that winter semester. Kill me now...
