Wow,
Life is once again, crazy. Jenn, Sancho, and I went to Havre this last weekend to close on the house which did go off without a hitch, for the most part. About 24 miles out of Great Falls the car broke down the first time. It broke down twice in Great Falls, and I found that if I kept feeding it gas it would keep going (Fuel Pump problems). I took the car to my friend Chris Tilleman's dealership (His Father owns it, brother runs it) to get fixed. While in Havre we stayed at my friend Brian's house, he's made it perfectly clear that whenever I'm in town I have no other option. Brian was busy working and doing random shit pretty much the whole weekend, but he let me borrow his car to get around, which was a lifesaver. Tilleman in the meantime left my car in neutral while he went to grab a tow strap, so it rolled down a hill and into a tree. In other words, the car was done. Good news is that there really couldn't have been anyone better to ram the damn thing into a tree, the dealership gave me more then a fair shake on a trade in. Now I'm cruising in a 2002 Impala LS, which kicks much ass both in power and in insurance costs unfortunately. Hopefully I'll be able to keep up with them, they'll more then half in December.
Other then that nightmare the trip went pretty well, things were more then cordial with my mom which was a pleasant change from recent happenings, I think now that the estate is finally over and everyone is realizing that I was never out to cheat them all out of money they'll start to feel like the asses they've been. Which doesn't mean anything other than they'll be friendly and slightly apologetic for a little while, then we can all go back to ignoring each other.
I went to the Dentist yesterday and now have to go in for Oral Surgery on Wednesday. It's a pretty hefty deal that'll knock me out of the action for a few days, but in the long run I'll be a lot better off. When I told the Dentist that Jenn would be able to watch me while I'm doped up (He was worried, I guess the drugs are pretty nasty) he suggested I play it up and squeeze a week of sympathy out of her, I like this Dentist. ;)
