(no subject)
The 3rd, Me, Michael, Sean and Courtney went to Reid.
I had this spontaneous idea to run off to the beach, so I gathered them up.
We all had to work at 4, and we left at like noon.
So needless to say we were actually at the beach for like and hour and a half.
But it was good because everyone who came with me had never been to Reid before.
So they liked it.
We were all late to work.
Me by only 15 minutes, Michael by like an hour.
Got ridiculously sunburnt on the way home...just my left shoulder cause it was out the window.
The 4th was pretty random.
I was gonna go to West Athens with Michael, Dennis, and Sean and all those kids from Wellington, but decided to go to the Winslow parade because Brad's sister Brandi has no friends, and asked me to go.
Plus I've never been to the Winslow parade before.
So I dragged him along, and hung out with Taylor all morning, and got my shoulder singed off.
Because I already had a sunburn from the previous day and SPF50million didn't help.
Me and Brad kinda hung out for a little bit, and then we went to get lunch at D&L, and went out to Jeff's house cause Jesse was out there helping him put his wires in for their new house.
They have the best animals.
2 ponies, a cow named Norman, 2 goats, 2 turtles, 3 dogs named Lucy (who is an ankle biter), Nikki, and Taz, oh yeah...and a bunny.
Brad tried to break the "Trail Cow", but it didn't want to be ridden.
Becky tried to drive the little skidder, and it was hilarious.
Then Brad had to work 6-9, and I went to the fireworks with Michael, and the Wellington crew, and B was gonna come after, but decided that him and Dave were going to take their bikes.
I was all confused and asked him why he didn't just go with me, but he insisted.
As soon as the fireworks started, I was wondering what was taking him so long, and he called and said he wasn't coming, cause he thought you could bring bikes right into Halifax Park.
He said he didn't want to leave it on the street.
And I was like, "Duhhhh!@"
So I stormed out of there in a huff, and walked up sketchy Halifax street by myself.
He got me all paranoid that all the roads were closed, and the night just wasn't turning out like it was supposed to.
Then we went to his dad and Lori's house for the 2nd Annual Redneck Festival.
There was kareoke, and me, Brad and Becki went inside to smoke, and to get away from everyone else, and we started talking, and as soon as we get inside, like eight other people came in, and we had to hide the weed from moochers.
And then his aunt Dory, and dad came inside and started seriously arguing hardcore, and we booked ass out of there.
Then Brad lost his phone and his cozy, so we went back in to look for them, and found the phone, but not the cozy, and Becky decided to play detective and frisk everyone of his creepy relatives, and they were getting pissed.
But then we found it on the ground.
There were some fireworks, and then we left.
Went camping Saturday night with Amanda and Jesse.
There's some pictures of Riley and B swimming that I'll post later (also some of Dave Matthews cause I'm so sly and snuck my camera in.)
So camping...
Beaver Brook N. Monmouth.
I was amazed at how big Jesse's little camper was.
It's one that sits in the bed of a pickup truck, and it was quaint.
We walked over to Jesse's dad's site, and hung out for a while.
He fed us macaroni salad, beans, steak, and chicken.
Then Riley and Brad went swimming.
They left to get firewood, and me and Amanda colored with Riley, and watched this guy out in a boat fly his motorized airplane around.
Then we walked up to the store and tried to get smores stuff, but they were out of graham crackers, so we just got marshmallows.
Me and the boys roasted marshmallows, and hotdogs, and watched fireworks across the lake.
It was good.
Except for the part where I had to get up at 7 in the morning to drive back home to get ready for work at 9.
Bought a new bed yesterday.
Chapter 11.
Queen size pillowtop mattress.
It's soooooo much more comfortable than our rock of a full size mattress.
I bought cute bedding that I really couldn't afford, but whatever.
So today me and B celebrated our one year.
Because tomorrow, he has to work open - close.
We didn't really do anything special, we just hung out, cause we never even get to do that.
We went to breakfast at Early Bird, and on the way he gave me a present.
It was a pretty promise ring.
It has two diamonds, and a pretty green stone.
It fit, but it was a little snug, so I'm getting it resized, but I'm sad I can't wear it until Friday.
Tomorrow I'm going to Funtown with Whit and Michael, cause he's never been.
He trying to convince us to stop at Dairy Queen Brazier on the way home hahaha.
But it's gonna be good.
Then Wednesday I'm going to see Wall E with my mom.
